A key feature of any NMRA Convention is the Train Show or, to use its British title, the Model Railway Exhibition. It is the event that is most anticipated: an opportunity to be inspired by what is on display and a selection of stands offering all the sweeties in the candy store, to use a phrase.

For 2022, we cannot replicate a typical Train Show held traditionally in the USA or Canada – North American-based manufacturers and vendors could not all afford to travel the distance. However, we are planning to have a traditional large-scale UK Model Railway Exhibition which will blend the best of British, European, North American and wider layouts and exhibits. This will be complemented by a cast of manufacturers, vendors/traders, specialist societies and demonstrations and displays by modellers. The exhibition will cover as many scales and gauges, eras and geographical locations as space will allow.  Whatever your taste, we hope to deliver.

Train ShowWe already have some headline layouts lined up but with the event so far ahead so much can change. We will start listing them when we are closer to the event itself. Suffice it to say that we shall endeavour to obtain the very finest layouts to represent our hobby in the best light.
