How much does it cost?

If you are visiting from overseas then the UK is incredibly cheap at the moment and so a great place to visit.

Once you have paid your Registration Fee, everything happening inside the Convention site is included, except for some clinics and other sessions that involve making something where materials are extra.  Admission to the Train Show for all two days is included also.

We are looking at different registration options to suit the taste of individuals who do not want to commit to a full week but rather a selection of individual days.

All tours are charged separately and have their own individual prices according to the length and any entrance fees or other costs.

A variety of hotel accommodation will be on offer with something to suit every wallet. Additionally, you won’t need to hire a car during the convention week itself as everything will have transport included.  It may occasionally be on foot but only for really local attractions!

This is a once in a lifetime event for you to indulge your passion for your hobby and it will be money well spent.  We will do our best to give you the most bang for your buck but there is one major bonus you will come away with: many new friends from all over the NMRA world.

But don’t just take my word for it.  The NMRA website also has a section dedicated to this very subject in a series of videos – see https://www.nmra.org/categories/what-goes-nmra-convention.
